There is a significant shortage of psychiatrists in our country. Fortunately, there has recently been an influx of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to help fill this void. Unfortunately, not all APPs receive as much education or supervision as they would like to receive, especially when it comes to complex differential diagnoses and advanced psychopharmacology. 

Whether you are a Primary Care Provider (Physician or APP) dealing with a heavy load of psychiatric patients who have fallen through the cracks of our system or a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with particularly complicated cases on your hands, I would love to have the opportunity to collaborate with you to better serve this population. 

There are some obvious limitations to my ability to see as many people as I would like to see given that my availability is limited and I am operating outside of the healthcare insurance system. However, I do offer short and intermediate-term “second opinion” diagnosis and treatment tracks that may help mitigate the impact of these limitations so that more people can gain access to specialty care in a timely manner.
